Fishing Bear Birthday Card

I haven't had as much time to play recently as I would have liked to!
Work went a bit mad before Christmas, by the time I'd got home I didn't have the energy to make a lot (specially after all those Christmas and Christmas Bus cards I had to make!).
So now I have a couple of weeks off, I've got some catching up to do!!! Plus all the goody's I got at Christmas! I was very lucky and got some very nice things!
So here is a Thank you to every one for all my Christmas Presents!

Here is a Fishing Bear Birthday Card I made in November for Paul's Birthday (my other half's Dad). I have done some layering and Decoupaged the Bear, fishing rod and the Fish of course!.

Finally time to play!

Well things have finally calmed down again. I have 3 weeks of work, some new Rubber Stamps, Prismacolor Pencils and lots of other bits to play with. I have been very lucky this Christmas!

Here are some of the cards I have been busy making. As usual I left things tight for time so it's been rushing all the way!
A friend of my mums, asked me to make her Christmas cards for her and I agreed! 25 cards! Here are some of them:

A couple of weeks later I think I'm nearly done I will be able to make my own Christmas Cards soon! (leaving everything to the last minute!!) and the same lady asks if I can make 15 more cards but there's a catch........ They have to be Bus Themed Christmas Cards!
The lady's husband is a bus enthusiast and finds it really hard every year to find Bus Christmas Cards to give the people from his Bus Club.

So I thought why not! it's not something I would do normally so a bit of a challenge for me! and I already had a Bus Rubber Stamp!

So here are some that I made: What do you think?

Dark Fairy

One of my favourite cards and yet so simple.
Simple decoupage on the front the fairy sitting on the moon and the moon stuck to acetate.
I then used some white gems to decorate the acetate at the top of the moon.
For the inside I mirrored the picture and stuck it on the inside to minimize the view of glue.

Nanny Wilson's Birthday Card 2008

Matting and Layering seems to be my thing at the moment!!!
On this card I did some straight forward matting and
layering with lilac card stock and silver mirriboard.
I then used some glittered flowery velum as the last layer
and the decoupage and mirriboard butterflies
as the embellishments.

(Once I decided what to do it only took a couple of hours!)

Birthday ATC

Recently I joined a Birthday ATC Group
at Tandastamps.com Forum
Here is my first Birthday ATC.

I used Tim Holtz distressed inks for the background
I used a swirl stamp with purple ink to finish the background
and embellished the ATC with some
quilled butterflies

Mum's Birthday Card 2008

Decoupage Cat

First I used a glittered foil as the main background,
matted and layered with a glittered purple card stock.
I then added another layer of a salmon colour shinny paper
and then in the top right hand corner I put a white and lilac paper,
I put a silver thin border peel off around the white and lilac paper .
On the bottom left corner the decoupaged cat over lapping the lilac paper slightly.

Asian ATC's

This is a set of 6 ATC's based on an ASIAN Theme I have used a variety of techniques and products including five different types of inks to make the backgrounds. The butterflies are heat embossed using pink and gold pigment inks and the glittery transparent powder. Once dried I applied Glossy Accents and glittered. The Asian Ladies are all stamped and then coloured with Sakura Stardust pens & Sakura Glaze pens.
